Fit To Be Untied Funding Terms and Conditions
Fit To Be Untied does not discriminate. We welcome everyone to our waiting list regardless of age, race, color, religion, national origin or marital status. To be placed on the Fit To Be Untied waiting list, we require that you make an initial $20 mandatory contribution to the waiting list and then a minimum $20 monthly contribution to the fund thereafter. This minimum monthly contribution is due on the 1st of each month. If there is a lapse of more than 60 days where the minimum financial obligation is not met, we will assume you are no longer in need of our financial assistance and we will remove your name from our list.
You will not be added to the waiting list until your initial $20 mandatory contribution to the waiting list is received. We prefer you make your payment via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, signing up is free and can be done quickly and easily online. By receiving payments through PayPal, we are assured that no payments get lost or delayed in the mail and that all payments clear the bank. If you absolutely cannot make your monthly payment through PayPal, please contact us so we can arrange to accept your payment via cashiers check or money order. Under no circumstances will we accept personal checks.
Things to be aware of before requesting financial assistance:
- We are NOT a bank or financing company nor are we associated with one in any way.
- We operate on a first come first serve basis and we fund one reversal or IVF procedure at a time. It is impossible for us to estimate how long it will take for you to receive the funding for your procedure.
- We do not pay for travel expenses, hotel accommodations or any pre-op or post-op costs.
- Financial contributions made to Fit To Be Untied will NEVER be refunded under ANY circumstances.
- This funding list is for individuals that cannot afford to finance their reversals or IVF themselves. If you can afford to pay for or finance your own procedure, please do so.
- We are NOT a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
- Filling out the application for assistance does not automatically put your name on the waiting list. You will not be added to the waiting list until the initial mandatory contribution to the waiting list is received.
- You will be placed on the waiting list in the order that your initial payment is received.
- Your minimum $20 monthly contribution is due on the 1st of each month. If there is a lapse of more than 60 days where the minimum financial obligation is not met, your name will be removed from our waiting list.
- The maximum funding amount through Fit To Be Untied is $4,000. Any costs associated with your procedure above and beyond that amount will be your financial responsibility.
- Funds will NEVER be sent directly to the person being funded. Fit To Be Untied will ONLY send the payment directly to the doctor performing the procedure.
- Tubal reversals are much less expensive and should be pursued thoroughly as your first option. Only consider IVF when your doctor has told you a reversal is not medically recommended or will likely be unsuccessful.
- We request that all members who have received funding continue to make a monthly contribution for the period of one year after she has been funded. By continuing to give in this way, it ensures that others will have the same opportunity for funding that she did.
- As our group grows and changes, it may be necessary to modify or add to these terms and conditions. You will be notified of any policy changes within 24 hours. Should you choose to remain on the waiting list after reviewing any changes, it will be assumed that you agree to accept the new terms and conditions.
